Raised History
Raised History is a festival light installation created for a Christmas event. The structure is built from wooden lattice, which reveals its internal frame and forms the shape of a tree. Changing colors of light are projected onto canvases placed at the bottom of each layer. The colors are based on historical periods of the city, and the curved form recalls the keel of a sailboat from the founding of the port. Placed near an old canal, the installation acts as a visual focal point and brings a festive atmosphere to the harbor area.
Raised History Festival Light Installation by Wingly Shih was recognized as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
