EYE
Eye is an outdoor wedding ceremony design staged inside an ancient city in Suzhou. The theme is drawn from the bridegroom's first sight of the bride's eyes. Separable sprayed ironwork installations sketch the contour of an eye and form a three-dimensional shape that reads as an eye from above and from the side. The pupil is made of wave-like spangles that glow in sunlight. The floral decorations use dark and light blue tones and are recyclable. The guest area encircles the couple, so the ceremony can be witnessed from many angles.
EYE Wedding Ceremony by Suzhou Huali Cultural Media Co, Ltd was selected as an outstanding representation of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. EYE Wedding Ceremony received the Iron A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2025. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which rewards excellent design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
