Quenched Silence
Quenched Silence is a residential interior design for a 49.5 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The original two-bedroom layout was changed into one bedroom, a living room and a dining room for a single occupant. A calm palette of black, gray, white and earthy tones supports reading and work. A curved ceiling softens the large beams, while black mirrors and lighting make the space appear larger. A bookcase behind the sofa adds storage, and a central island serves as a dining table and a work area for gatherings.
Quenched Silence Residence by SAN.O INTERIOR DESIGN was recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Quenched Silence Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
