Mangrove Garden
Mangrove Garden is an office interior for a global financial institution in Hong Kong. The project covers 54,000 square feet across three storeys. Each level has a central hub inspired by a mangrove garden, with tropical plants and structures that recall mangrove trees. Flexible seating around each hub supports teamwork and social interaction. Site-specific artworks by local artists encourage engagement. Repurposed furnishings and bio-based finishes were selected for responsible material use. The colour scheme reinterprets the signature brand red with a wider palette.
Mangrove Garden Commercial Workplace by Bean Buro was recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Mangrove Garden Commercial Workplace won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
