Maison of Silence
Maison of Silence is a residential interior design in Taichung City, Taiwan, planned for a family of four and six cats. The home covers 106 square meters and includes three bedrooms, a dedicated cat room and a 12 meter balcony. A curved sculpted screen at the entrance holds an art display and a buffet and defines the living and dining zones. Partitions were removed and the hallway was moved beside the floor-to-ceiling windows to bring in sunlight and views. Natural wood, terrazzo, iron and bronze mirrors appear in gray, white and earthy tones.
Maison of Silence Residential House by Timeless Space Design has been selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Maison of Silence Residential House won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
