Counterpoint Poetry
Counterpoint Poetry is a residential interior design located in the countryside of Changhua City, Taiwan. The home covers a construction area of 121 square meters, set within a building whose 1980s beams and columns form square walls. The layout follows the nine-square grid of the Mandala Chart, with the core space placed at the center. Storage walls form a winding path that conceals clutter. Earthy browns represent the fruitfulness of the soil, and an emerald green wall marks the main living area. A quiet computer room with a futon supports daily use.
Counterpoint Poetry Three Section Compound by Hsin Ting Weng has been highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Counterpoint Poetry Three Section Compound won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
