FengYuan Original

Fengyuan Original is an interior design for a restaurant that serves coconut water chicken hotpot. The shape of the coconut tree is abstracted into a single symbol, the palm leaf, produced in eight forms from green plated and polished stainless steel, each four meters long. A total of 475 metal leaves are arranged across the interior, forming partitions that separate functional areas and turn the restaurant into a large installation. Il Mosnel QdE 2012

Just as the Iseo Lake splashes on the banks of Franciacorta, so the sparkling wine wets the sides of a glass. The concept is a graphic re-elaboration of the shape of the lake and expresses all the power of a Reserve bottle being poured into a crystal glass. An elegant and lively label, balanced in its graphics and colors, is a daring solution with transparent polypropylene and entirely hot foil gold printing to give new sensations. The pouring out of the wine is underlined on the box, where the graphics wraps around the pack: simple and impactful composed by two “slive et tiroir” elements.

Artificial Topography

Big Furniture Like a Cave This is the award-winning project won the Grand Prize of Art in Container International Competition. My idea is to hollow out the volume inside a container in order to build amorphous space like a cave. It is made of only plastic material. About 1000 sheets of the soft plastic material of 10-mm thickness were cut down in contour line form and were laminated like stratum. This is not only art but also big furniture. Because all the portions are soft like a sofa, and person who enter into this space can relax by finding the place suitable for the form of its own body.
