Wakin Chau
Wakin Chau is a concert stage design created for a world tour completed in 2024. The stage works in two parts. In the first part, six curtains of fire-resistant gray fabric hide the LED screens and the band, while ink-wash projections form a misty mountain scene. Each curtain weighs about 100 kilograms and reaches a height of 1,336 centimeters, so strong mechanical systems lift the fabric quickly. In the second part, the curtains retract and three LED screens create a modern atmosphere for the audience.
Wakin Chau World Tour by B’IN LIVE CO., LTD. has been selected as an innovative illustration of service design by the A' Design Awards. Wakin Chau World Tour earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2025. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which recognizes exceptional design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
