Igo
Igo is a mobile application for a smart shared shuttle service. The service aims to provide affordable and safe travel for low income communities in Los Angeles. Intelligent algorithms match passengers travelling to nearby destinations, which improves vehicle occupancy and addresses first and last mile travel. The application also lists job opportunities along each route. Safety features include voice activated emergency alerts, one click emergency calling and trip sharing for night travel. The interface is simple, so core functions are easy to find.
Igo App Design by Zilian(Joy) Li has been recognized as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Igo App Design received the Iron A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2025.
