Panpan
Panpan is a limited edition gift box designed to hold brand products and selected gifts. The outer form is inspired by ancient Chinese food boxes, while the decoration follows the Chinoiserie style popular in Europe in the 18th century. Famous Chinese and French landmarks are combined with the brand character in hot stamped illustrations. The box is made of cardboard, with metal plates on the front and back. Wheat patterns on the side and bamboo patterns inside are embossed in gold paper. The flip lid is held closed by magnets.
Panpan Limited Gift Box by Wu Yao was highlighted as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Panpan Limited Gift Box was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
