Eco Fusion AI
Eco Fusion AI is a recycling three dimensional printer that turns plastic bottles into printable filament. A cutting bar removes the usual grinding step, so each bottle is cut, melted and fed directly into the extruder. A robotic arm loads new bottles, and an artificial intelligence system sets temperature and feed rates. Temperature and flow sensors monitor quality during operation. The chassis is machined from recycled aluminum, and translucent panels reveal the internal process. A touchscreen shows each stage, making on site recycling clear and accessible.
Eco Fusion AI Recycling 3D Printer Robot by Xilin Tang has been identified as a creative illustration of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Eco Fusion AI Recycling 3D Printer Robot won the Bronze A' Design Award in Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design in 2025. The A' Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize that honors excellent design of industrial robots, medical robots, agricultural robots, domestic robots, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, telepresence robots, underwater robots and more.
