Fanora
Fanora is a smart switch panel for home control. The form follows a traditional Chinese folding fan, with the ribs acting as panel support and the fan surface as the control area. The main body is made of 6063 aluminium alloy with a sandblasted and anodised finish. Eight buttons are shaped by CNC machining and have a fine sand textured surface that resists fingerprints. A pendant of natural Hetian jade holds concealed sensors that adjust lighting and air conditioning. A long press on the scene button saves the current settings for later recall.
Fanora Control Terminal by Hdl Automation Co., Ltd. was selected as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Fanora Control Terminal earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Digital and Electronic Device Design in 2025. The A' Digital and Electronic Device Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which honors exceptional design of smartphones, laptops, televisions, cameras, headphones, smartwatches, gaming consoles, tablets and more.
