Whispers of Grace
Whispers of Grace is a residential interior design for a single family home of about 50 square meters. The original layout was inefficient, with oversized beams and columns. Solid partitions were removed, and curved elements and light strips were added at the entrance, above the living room beams and along the television wall. A raised floor and transparent glass sliding doors let natural light reach the interior. A kitchen island and a Japanese style room for tea, reading and meditation complete the plan.
Whispers of Grace Residence by Min Hui Hsueh has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Whispers of Grace Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
