Zhenbaoguan
Zhenbaoguan is a private museum interior covering 750 square meters. The space displays a collection of artworks and wine inside a residence that also serves as an office and a place to receive guests. Cabinets, ceilings and floors are finished in black wood and stone, so attention stays on the exhibits. The cabinet lighting illuminates each artwork rather than the cabinet surfaces. Wine walls are arranged symmetrically along both sides of the main corridor, following Oriental symmetry aesthetics. Turns and level changes create a varied route through the rooms.
Zhenbaoguan Museum by Zhao Yunhai was highlighted as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Zhenbaoguan Museum received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
