Sunlit Path
Sunlit Path is a four-story villa interior located in the mountains of northern Taiwan. The residence spans 353.1 square meters and uses staggered levels and open transitions instead of a conventional vertical layout. The ground floor holds the garage, foyer, and storage. The second floor contains the living room, dining area, and a bar counter linked to an outdoor terrace. The third and fourth floors hold bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and a study. Sycamore wood surfaces and a dark grayscale palette define the interior. Cat perches and a custom staircase platform allow pets to move freely.
Sunlit Path Residence by Debby Chen has been featured as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Sunlit Path Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
