Slow Bakery
Slow Bakery is a retail bakery interior created within a former garage in Magong, Penghu County, Taiwan. Natural wood tones and textured concrete finishes give the space a warm and professional character. A wooden entrance door shaped like a loaf of bread, fitted with a brass handle, reflects the brand identity. A terrazzo counter and pegboard walls add function and order. Reclaimed wood and veneer panels support sustainability. Careful spatial planning improves customer flow and hygiene, and the whole interior reflects a dedication to artisanal baking.
Slow Bakery Retail Design by Jing Ting Wu has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Slow Bakery Retail Design won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
