The Form of Power
In the rapidly evolving society, femininity is transforming into a more diverse concept. This garment goes beyond a deeper exploration of beauty, boldly challenging traditional gender norms. On a larger scale, it embodies an inclusive, diverse value system for female identity, promoting a broader societal understanding of complex female identities and encouraging women to define beauty on their own terms. Additionally, it uses recycled leather and environmentally friendly velvet, with plans to develop biodegradable tulle, balancing design expression with environmental responsibility.
The Form of Power Costume Design by XINYI CHEN was identified as a creative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award. The Form of Power Costume Design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design in 2025. The A' Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes excellent design of runway collections, dresses, suits, skirts, outerwear, jackets, apparel, garments and more.
