DUSITANON
Baan Dusitanon is a four-story residence with a mezzanine level, located in a busy urban area. The building is enveloped by a facade of vertically aligned and gently twisted louvers made of high-strength aluminum. The louvers screen the interior from outside views while keeping the city visible from within. The facade also acts as a thermal buffer and frames planted areas between the screen and the walls. Each floor places semi-private living areas at the front and bedrooms at the rear. A double-height living space on the fourth floor opens toward the cityscape.
DUSITANON Residence by Phaithaya Banchakitikun has been identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. DUSITANON Residence earned the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2025. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
