Sacred Blessing
Sacred Blessing is a site-specific art installation created for a temple in Taiwan. The work translates temple prayer rituals into a contemporary spatial form. The structure is shaped like open hands and stands about 5200 mm high. Modular timber units are joined by precise interlocking assembly, with few fasteners. Wood and bamboo are used for sustainability and for a natural visual character. Visitors can step inside the hands, where engraved wooden scripts surround them. The installation invites quiet reflection on faith and heritage.
Sacred Blessing Art Installation by Ching Ke Lin was featured as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Sacred Blessing Art Installation won the Silver A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2026. The A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards excellent design of sculptures, paintings, installations, photographs, drawings, mixed media works, ceramics, art objects, craftworks and more.
