Flow of Light
Flow of Light is a residential interior design for a high ceiling duplex home. The design uses a monochromatic palette of black, gray, and white to create a calm and balanced atmosphere. Silver Fox marble, Black Marquina marble, wood veneer, and bronze mirror add warmth and texture. Mirrored surfaces reflect light and extend visual depth. The first floor holds the open plan communal area, while the second floor holds the bedroom. A central corridor separates the living room and the dining room, guiding a clear traffic flow.
Flow of Light Residential House by Tzu Chun Lin was recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Flow of Light Residential House won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
