Togetherness
Togetherness is a residential interior design covering approximately 132 square meters in Taiwan. The entrance uses a reeded glass screen and a matte grey storage wall to form a calm buffer between the street and the home. The layout was reorganized into three plus one rooms with a living room and a dining room. The kitchen, dining and living areas are merged into one open social space, with the sink repositioned so cooking faces family activity. Materials include reeded glass, grey ceramic tiles, acrylic, railway tiles and wood textures. Linear ceiling lighting brightens the interior.
Togetherness Residence by Kan Kuo-Tung was featured as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Togetherness Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
