Chord
Chord is an apartment interior located in a low-density residential building in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. The layout supports both remote work and family life. The living room contains a multifunctional performance area that serves as a home cinema, a library and a space for a grand piano. Concealed doors and a sliding corridor door separate the zones and improve sound insulation. A semi-enclosed foyer with hidden shoe cabinets and wardrobes forms a calm buffer at the entrance. Light-toned elm veneer, herringbone stone tiles and marble unify the rooms.
Chord Residential by Handover Studio Ltd. was highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
