Vessel of Time
Vessel of Time is a residential interior design created for a pianist and a family of three. The home covers about 231 square meters in Taiwan. A wood-lined foyer forms a gentle threshold between the city and the interior. Tall fluted glass doors and sheer curtains filter daylight into the living space. The piano stands within a shared central core, where music, reading and conversation meet. Light timber, mineral textures and special paint with brush marks shape a calm, low-saturation setting. The open plan links the living areas and supports a slower pace of daily life.
Vessel of Time Residential by WPH_HTH_Architects was recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Vessel of Time Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
