Floral Album
Floral Album is a fashion collection inspired by family photographs from the 1980s. The collection is made from deadstock fabrics combined with several handcraft techniques. Hand embroidery, crochet, beading, knitting and cross stitch are applied to velvet and to layered transparent textiles. Crocheted trims and knitted pieces include sequin elements that catch the light as the wearer moves. Each garment is constructed individually, so no piece is repeated. All pieces are free size. The collection links detailed handwork with the reuse of overlooked materials.
Floral Album Fashion Collection by Xinyu Zheng has been highlighted as a grand example of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Floral Album Fashion Collection earned the Iron A' Design Award in Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design in 2026.
