Day Go is a sustainable modular armchair inspired by the silhouette of a traditional Taiwanese teapot, reimagining Eastern hospitality into a modern, enveloping form. Engineered for the Circular Economy, its unified aesthetic conceals a glue free Design for Disassembly structure. The plush seat integrates with a hidden recyclable base housing a smooth 360 degree swivel mechanism. This design enables future parts replacement and material separation, balancing cultural storytelling with sustainable industrial utility.
Day Go Modular Armchair by Hsieh-jen Lee was featured as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Day Go Modular Armchair received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2026.
