Arboris
Perched on the elevated plateau of Zlatibor, amid gently rolling hills, forests, and open expanses, the Arboris Hotel complex is envisioned as a focal point within a layered network of landscape relationships and connections. Its three circular volumes take inspiration from Stopica Cave, where underground limestone basins have been shaped into naturally occurring round formations. This geometry enables continuous panoramic openings in every direction, establishing a renewed dialogue between the built form and its surrounding landscape.
Arboris Hotel by POTIROPOULOS and PARTNERS has been recognized as an innovative example of strategy design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Arboris Hotel was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Generative, Algorithmic, Parametric and AI-Assisted Design in 2026. The A' Generative, Algorithmic, Parametric and AI-Assisted Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of algorithmic artworks, parametric architectures, generative graphics, AI-Assisted illustrations, computational sculptures, procedural patterns, evolutionary installations, interactive experiences and more.
