Gemini
Gemini is a modular coffee pot that combines hand brewing and moka pot brewing in one device. A grinding component is integrated into the body, so fewer separate tools are needed and less space is used. The fineness of the coffee grounds is adjusted by turning the lid. Pressing down the grinding component closes the powder outlet and starts the moka brewing mode. When filter paper is placed inside the grinding component, hand brewing is possible. Most parts are made of recyclable plastic, and some parts are made of metal.
Gemini Modular Coffee Pot by Yunsong Liu has been identified as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gemini Modular Coffee Pot earned the Iron A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2026. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes superior design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
