The Cuban
The Cuban is a bar cabinet designed for storage and social use. A humidor lined with cedar wood is integrated into the cabinet structure, providing a controlled environment for cigars, while the interior holds whiskey. The curved doors are made of flexible plywood with a high gloss lacquer finish, and marble is applied to the top surface. The upper surface can also be used as a deck for turntables and music equipment. Internal cable channels and power outlets allow several devices to operate through a single connection. A digital system controls humidity and lighting.
The Cuban Bar Cabinet by Alp Usluduran was highlighted as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. The Cuban Bar Cabinet earned the Golden A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2026. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
