Curve Drinking Glass

Curve

Curve Glass is a drinking glass with a slight curved recess on its rim. The recess keeps a straw pointed in the right direction when the glass is tilted, so the drink can be reached with one hand. The same recess guides the straw back into place after stirring, and can hold a long spoon or a piece of fruit during preparation. When the glass is washed and placed upside down, the recess lets the remaining water evaporate, which helps prevent odor and mildew. The glass is blown inside a mold, and the recess is cut with a laser before final finishing and reheating.

Curve Drinking Glass by Vladimir Zagorac has been highlighted as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Curve Drinking Glass earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2019. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
