Residence of Hung
Residence of Hung is an interior design for a family home in Taiwan. The layout is open and planned for a young couple who often receive guests. One of the four original rooms was removed and rebuilt as a multi-functional room with glass sliding doors. When the doors are open, the public area doubles in size and can hold more than fifteen people. When the doors are closed, the room offers privacy. Wood pattern and concrete floors define the two sides. A red brick wall, green walls and a blue brick kitchen island shape the industrial style.
Residence of Hung Residential House by Benson Wu was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Residence of Hung Residential House received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2019. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
