Poly Central Residence
Poly Central Residence is a sales center located in Yangjiang, China. The interior covers 900 square meters. Concrete blocks are interlaced to imitate coastal rocks, recalling the traces of time and tide. Rocky walls and a blocky ceiling form multiple levels and a natural spatial order. Green moss grows between the rocks, and open areas echo the waterscape outside. The walls, ceiling, reception counter, water bar, showcase and scaled model are customized. Ceramics, stone, metal and leather contrast with each other, and lights with simple lines are embedded in cabinets and walls.
Poly Central Residence Sales Center by Guo Jie was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Poly Central Residence Sales Center was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
