Wave
Wave is a portable personal blender designed for use in an office, a car or other places away from home. The compact body is about the size of a large water bottle and holds the complete blending mechanism. The shell is made of injection molded ABS, the blades are stainless steel and the window is tempered glass. A molded silicone cover with a flowing pattern gives a firm grip and conceals residue left on the glass. The small transparent window allows the blending progress to be checked. A brushless motor, rechargeable batteries and a USB charging plug are used.
Wave Blender by Leila Ensaniat was selected as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Wave Blender earned the Golden A' Design Award in Home Appliances Design in 2020. The A' Home Appliances Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which recognizes superior design of refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and more.
