Nighty Night
Nighty Night is a wearable wristband designed to improve sleep quality. Nighty Night combines traditional Chinese acupressure with modern technology, using a low-frequency pulse current to stimulate acupoints on the wrist. The current passes between two electrode pads and creates even stimulation across the area between them, so the exact acupoint does not need to be located. The user puts on the band before sleeping and sets the intensity and the duration. The band is stored in a box that charges the device, and the electronic part can be removed for cleaning.
Nighty Night Wristband by Meizhu Li was selected as an exceptional representation of product design by the A' Design Award. Nighty Night Wristband was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Wearable Technologies Design in 2020. The A' Wearable Technologies Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes excellent design of smartwatches, fitness trackers, VR headsets, AR glasses, medical devices, smart jewelry, body cameras, wearable computers and more.
