T Razr

As a car part manufacturer, Maxxis keeps thinking how it can design a feasible smart system that can participate in this trend and even help accelerate it. T Razr is a smart tire developed for the need. Its built-in sensors actively detect different driving conditions and provide active signals to transform the tire. The magnified treads stretch and change the contact area in response to the signal, therefore improve the traction performance.
T Razr Transformative Tyre by Maxxis International and Cheng Shin Rubber Ind was recognized as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. T Razr Transformative Tyre won the Silver A' Design Award in Vehicle Parts, Auto Accessories and Care Products Design in 2020. The A' Vehicle Parts, Auto Accessories and Care Products Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes superior design of car seat covers, GPS systems, roof racks, floor mats, steering wheel covers, car audio, dash cams, air fresheners and more.
