Fengqi Chang’an Aesthetics Museum
Fengqi Chang'an Aesthetics Museum is an exhibition building in Chang'an, China. The design is inspired by nature, traditional Chinese gardens and landscape paintings. Functional volumes of different sizes are combined with courtyards and verandas to form a continuous and flexible garden space. Each courtyard serves a purpose, such as display, communication, meditation or activities, and crisscrossed corridors link them. Glass surfaces, wide door leaves and large overhanging eaves create an orderly frame. The building covers 6,400 square meters on a 16,000 square meter site.
Fengqi Chang’an Aesthetics Museum Exhibition Hall by GOA (Group of Architects) has been identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
