Poly Tianhuan
Poly Tianhuan Garden is a landscape design for a residential site in Foshan, Guangdong. The garden covers 19368 square meters and forms artificial green hills within the city. Undulating topography and curved surfaces recall the qualities of a natural environment. The design extends into the interior of the buildings, so the boundary between inside and outside is softened. Natural stone, wood and planting are used, with white hemp granite paving, concrete for the curved surfaces and perforated metal for the furniture. The layout is inspired by traditional Chinese gardens.
Poly Tianhuan Garden by Paul Bo Peng was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Poly Tianhuan Garden won the Silver A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which celebrates exceptional design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
