Organic Space
Organic Space is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan. The design is based on the concepts of sunlight, air, and water. Wood grain, leather, cloth, and glass are combined to connect the visual rhythm of each area. Layers of light and shadow reduce the visual weight of the structural beam above the television cabinet. The main wall of the living room holds a shelving unit for storage and display. Hidden door panels are integrated into the surface. The variation of levels and the extension of lines and surfaces shape a humanized space.
Organic Space Residential House by Chen Chin-Shu has been highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Organic Space Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
