Cong Tai Baijiu Beverage

Cong Tai Baijiu

Cong Tai Baijiu is a commemorative packaging design for a Chinese spirit released for the year of the rat. The main motif is drawn from the door catch of traditional Chinese architecture, referring to the rat as the first zodiac animal that opens the year. The inner label combines the forms of a rat and a coin to suggest wealth and good fortune, while the outer ring uses a radiant pattern for a lively effect. The bottle is made of ceramic with a marble texture and is finished by water transfer printing.

Cong Tai Baijiu Beverage by Wen Liu was featured as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Cong Tai Baijiu Beverage earned the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award that celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
