Golden Black Rhyme
Golden Black Rhyme is a residential interior design for a four-storey home of 212 square meters. The theme comes from an abstract painting in golden and black tones placed above the sofa. Materials, colors and furniture in the space extend from the painting, and its lines create visual balance. The first floor holds the living room and open kitchen, where a steel hanger with openings screens the elevator and continues to the kitchen ceiling to integrate the air outlet and recessed lights. The upper floors are private areas for three generations.
Golden Black Rhyme Residence by Pei Chun Chiu has been selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Golden Black Rhyme Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
