Greyder V
Greyder V is a shoe box designed to carry and store footwear without a plastic bag. Integrated handles allow the box to be carried by hand after purchase. Two compartments hold the shoes in a V shape, which makes unpacking simple. The V form is inspired by the movement of walking, when one foot passes the other. The box is made from carton using a grinding method, and the materials are recyclable and biodegradable. The compact vertical shape also allows the box to be kept as storage for a spare pair in an office.
Greyder V Package Design by Musa Çelik has been featured as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Greyder V Package Design won the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
