Mi Musician
Mi Bluetooth Headset Mini is packaging created for a compact sports headset. The headset shell is minimal and carries a single circular button. The packaging uses images of famous musicians, so the oval shell reads as a head and the button as an open mouth. The result suggests a singer or a conductor, and gives character to a simple product. A PET tray holds the headset and the controller at the front, while the wires remain hidden. A paper cover keeps the structure firm. The design aims to appeal to users between 18 and 29 years old.
Mi Musician Bluetooth Headset by Xiaomi was highlighted as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mi Musician Bluetooth Headset won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
