PlouNuvol
PlouNuvol is an interactive light installation shaped as a large inflatable cloud. Visitors enter the cloud and take part in a light and sound show. A conductor teaches a simple choreography that turns the body into a percussion instrument. The sounds recall the phases of rain and trigger light effects inside the cloud. Artificial fog and ten tons of salt on the floor reflect the colors of the walls. The outer skin is made of flame retardant polyester with a PVC coating, so the show is also visible from outside.
PlouNuvol Light Interactive Installation by Dani Paez Guillen was identified as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. PlouNuvol Light Interactive Installation was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2020. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which rewards exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
