Art Of Living
Hong Kong Houseware Fair 2019 is an event design created for a trade fair held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The design covers three areas: a welcome installation in the entrance foyer, an entrance treatment for the exhibition hall, and a separate trend forecast display. The welcome installation measures 30 square metres and 5 metres in height and includes a large LED screen. Materials include a reusable aluminium system, LED strip lights, acrylic panels and biodegradable carpet. Colours and forms taken from the industry trend report link the three areas.
Art Of Living Installations by Hong Kong Trade Development Council was recognized as an exceptional illustration of service design by the A' Design Awards. Art Of Living Installations won the Silver A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2020. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that rewards excellent design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
