Simple Refined
Simple Refined is an office interior design of 297 square meters located in Shanghai, China. Black, white and grey form the base tone, with warm raw wood texture and orange and red tones used as accents. A mirror in the office area enlarges the sense of space, and a television hidden behind the mirror keeps the surfaces clean. The meeting room offers privacy, while a large glass window brings daylight and outside views into the space. A recreational area with a red bear element gives employees a place to rest.
Simple Refined Office by Yue Meng was identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Simple Refined Office won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
