Lotus Resort of Jiuhua Moutain
Lotus Resort of Jiuhua Mountain is a resort hotel interior located in the Jiuhua Mountain scenic area of Chizhou City, China. The interior supports meditation, meeting, learning and rest. A reception hall, a meditation room, a leisure and discussion area and a tea room are arranged around a lotus pond, which forms a buffer zone and a viewing distance. Local materials such as brick, tile, wood and stone are used with modern building techniques. Courtyard corridors follow the direction of the mountains. The guest rooms follow themes drawn from local Hui culture and Buddhist thought.
Lotus Resort of Jiuhua Moutain Hotel by Kevin Hu was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lotus Resort of Jiuhua Moutain Hotel received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
