Automotive Social
Automotive Social Club is a building designed as a social space for car enthusiasts. The L-shaped structure stands on a triangular site between two railway tracks and covers 410 square meters. One part is a single story building with a repair shop, a cleaning workshop and a detailing workshop. The other part has two floors with a bar, sales and display areas, offices, a kitchen, a dining area and a terrace. Large interior steps separate the inner and outer zones. The facade is made of red and black pressed steel plates.
Automotive Social Club by Teng Guo Yan Jiao was highlighted as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Automotive Social Club won the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
