Fulfillment
Fulfillment is a residential interior design for the home of a retired couple. The original layout is largely retained to reduce waste from demolition. A rattan door wardrobe, iron bars and reduced cupboard space create an open and visually transparent environment. Natural materials such as stone and wood keep their texture and fill the rooms with earth tones, so the space looks larger. The house stands in a damp location, so a mineral coating is applied to regulate moisture. Simplification guides the project and makes the residence comfortable.
Fulfillment Residential Interior Design by Wei Dan Chen was highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Fulfillment Residential Interior Design received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
