Home of Nature
Home of Nature is a residential interior design for a 450 square meter home in Beijing, China. Green and white form the main palette, expressing calm and purity. Forest green is introduced across the colorful furniture and the artistic materials to create the effect of a breathable garden. Bedrooms are placed on the second floor to keep private life undisturbed, and a continuous storage cabinet in the master bedroom makes the room appear larger. Fabric surfaces add warmth. The lower floor holds a teahouse and a spa area, where a stone bed sits beside a bamboo landscape.
Home of Nature Residential Apartment by Tina Sheng was recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Home of Nature Residential Apartment won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
