Glimpse
Glimpse is a side table designed for use beside seating units. The form of Glimpse is a reflection of an organic shape divided into small sections, joining an organic outline with a minimalist design. The table is made of wood and tempered glass. The wooden parts are produced with a CNC router, and silicone dots are attached to the wooden parts to stop the tempered glass from slipping. The glass has a concave slope that allows easy access from a sitting position on a sofa. The glass can be flipped, so the table can be placed on either side of the seating.
Glimpse Side Table by Kenan Derya Sargin was recognized as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Glimpse Side Table won the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2020. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that honors exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
