Pass On
Pass On is a photographic series built around the image of a message sealed inside a bottle. Each photograph is inspired by a single word, such as hope or fraternity, and represents that word through its meaning or through a real event. The same three elements, a message, a bottle and water, appear in every image, yet each theme is treated in a different way. Sets, special aquariums and specific mechanisms were built for the pictures. The digital images combine interference and image fusion, and are printed with inkjet on cotton paper.
Pass On Photo Series by Eduardo Dulla Costa has been identified as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Pass On Photo Series was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Photography and Photo Manipulation Design in 2020. The A' Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which honors superior design of portraits, landscapes, still lifes, photojournalism, fashion shots, architectural images, wildlife captures, sports events and more.
